Fast and Easy Acrylic Painting Technique for Beginners – Creating Waterfall Effect —
TECHNIQUE ONLY – NOT A FULL TUTORIAL
NOTE: Remember the old Seinfeld episode about the “close talker”? This video reminds me of that…it was shot a bit too close…sometimes it gets a bit blurry, but I decided to share it because it’s a pretty decent technique…don’t say I didn’t warn you!
SIMPLE – FAST – EASY TECHNIQUE
I call this a “waterfall” effect which is basically cascading colors that you can build a pretty waterscape over.
I used a few different items:
- Prepped canvas board
- Acrylics: turquoise, cerulean blue, gold, white
- Texture: already applied to board – molding paste
- Flat brush
- Palette knife
